Campaign recipes that make sense
Start with a business goal, then choose the smallest useful rule.
Move a high-inventory product
Choose Percentage discount, select the product, enter the discount and place it in the cart. Alternatively, choose the inventory source and set a minimum stock quantity. Exclude sale products to keep markdowns from accumulating.
Buy one, get one free
Use Buy X get Y. Select the qualifying product as a trigger, set Buy quantity to 1 and Free quantity to 1. Choose the reward product. Set Maximum reward units to 1 for one gift per cart. The customer adds the paid item first and chooses the gift from the offer.
Buy two, get one free
Use the same setup with Buy quantity 2. For a repeatable offer up to two gifts, set the maximum reward units to 2. Four qualifying paid units then earn two gifts. A gift never counts toward another gift.
Spend $100, choose a gift
Use Gift with minimum spend and enter 100. This campaign threshold is before coupons and excludes tax, shipping and promotional lines. It is different from your native free-shipping threshold.
Complete the kit
Choose one or more core products as triggers, use “Every selected qualifying product,” and offer an accessory. This is an accessory offer conditioned on a product combination, not a WooCommerce bundle product.
Buy more, save more
Choose Quantity discount tiers. Select products, set 3 items for 10% and 6 items for 15%. Quantities across eligible ordinary selected cart items are combined. The highest matching quantity tier applies. Lower-priority campaigns do not stack on the same line.
Offer a second product after add to cart
Select the popup placement and customize the headline, description and button. Standard WooCommerce AJAX add-to-cart events trigger the popup. A normal form submission without an AJAX event does not trigger it.
Offer an add-on at checkout
Choose Checkout and a relevant product. Classic checkout uses the before-checkout hook. Checkout Blocks place the offer directly above the checkout block and update through the WooCommerce Store API.
Recommend after purchase
Choose Product recommendation and Post-purchase. Keep triggers and minimum spend empty because eligibility is evaluated against the new cart. The thank-you page recommendation begins a separate order with its own payment and shipping.
Schedule a seasonal offer
Set start and end times using the store timezone shown in the campaign editor. Eligibility uses the request time, so no cron task is required. An offer that expires while a cart is open is revalidated at the next cart calculation.
Run a wholesale-role campaign
Choose the applicable customer role and selected products. Test it with your wholesale pricing extension: externally changed prices may intentionally pause the CartSprig discount.
Feature a product without discounting
Use Product recommendation. It uses the current catalog price and adds the product normally, preserving ordinary coupon handling.
