Install CartSprig and create your first offer
Start on a staging copy of your store.
Requirements
WordPress 6.6 or newer, WooCommerce 9.0 or newer, and PHP 8.1 or newer are the code targets. These minimums are not a claim that every historical combination has been tested. Use the release’s validation report for the actual tested versions.
Install
- Back up your site and open your staging store.
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and upload the CartSprig ZIP.
- Activate WooCommerce, then CartSprig.
- Open CartSprig and activate your purchased license. All plans include every feature. The owner must connect Freemius before commercial activation is available.
- Create a paused campaign, select a simple product or exact variation, and choose the placement.
- Review the coupon policy, then enable the campaign and test it.
A simple first offer
Choose Product recommendation, select a useful accessory, use the Cart placement, and write a clear headline. For a discounted accessory, use Percentage discount and start with a modest value such as 10%. Test margins before choosing a discount.
Before customers see it
Test logged-in and guest carts, checkout, address changes, coupons, taxes, stock changes and quantity changes. Complete and refund a test order. Verify the amount actually paid. Exclude cart, checkout, wc-ajax and WooCommerce session traffic from full-page caching.
Using a page builder
Use [cartsprig_offers placement="cart"] or [cartsprig_shipping] in a shortcode widget. Avoid duplicate placement when CartSprig already inserts the offer automatically. Custom cart drawers may need an event adapter.
